The birth and spread of Business Schools is a quite recent phenomenon: they appeared for the first time at the beginning of the 2000s in the United States, and then they rapidly spread to countries of the world particularly developed from an economic point of view.
The reason for this spread lay in the impending need to train individuals with a more dynamic and modern mentality.
The highest level BSs are schools of specialisation that do not limit themselves to distributing instruction manuals or dispensing theoretical notions; rather they are concerned with organizing training courses based on practice and which will be useful to the participants in the company contexts in which they will find themselves.
It will be the task of the BS to make available professional and well-known teachers in their field, who provide valid strategic tools to apply in the managerial field.
The goal of these training bodies is to better prepare young people (graduates and non-graduates), in order to enable them to undertake a wide range of managerial paths.
Thanks to this versatility, talents will not be constrained to fill specific business management positions, but they will have a wide range of career choices to choose from.
For the youngest, they represent an excellent window into the world of work by supporting their students, ensuring excellent professional integration of young graduates, without forgetting the important orientation towards the international dimension.
These training bodies have by no means lost their relevance. If anything, what they teach about management, finance, operations, and strategy has greatly influenced the way many companies in the industry operate today. Today a self-respecting Business School should guarantee high quality training in line with the needs of the market, flexible, accessible, fresh and innovative.
